Ker-THUNK

Rowan seems to enjoy gnawing on chair legs, tables... whatever will fit in his mouth at the time. Why? That's beyond me, maybe because it feels interesting on his teeth or something. He's got all 8 front teeth and two top molars, as well as two bumps on the bottom where molars will be coming in soon, so maybe that's it. Either way, he's crazy as ever.

He says no now and the other day he had mimicked Joe exactly. Joe's had the plague lately (Figuratively, of course) and didn't want Rowan to catch it, so when Rowan was approaching Joe, Joe told him "Go!" in the same voice, Rowan responded "Go!" It was something crazy to hear and absolutely adorable.

Today I learned how quickly bruises can pop up. Its crazy how quickly things happen. One second, Rowan can be sitting still, smiling as you spoon feed him yogurt and you turn your head for one second and the next, almost as if in slow motion, he's falling, falling into the flat edge of the entertainment center and to the floor. He looks up, shocked and crying, and there's an instant purple lump in the middle of his forehead. He's fine, I promise. It was just crazy to think how quickly things happen. Daddy was giving him some yogurt while Rowan sat in daddy's "big boy chair".

That's life though, that's how kids are... bumps and bruises, just something that we as parents have to deal with. We might not like to see our kids hurt, bruised, scratched or whatever, but toddlers have a way of testing your every boundary I've come to learn.

Not much else to report upon right now.

Yesterday and Today!

Sorry I didn't post yesterday what I'm posting today, but by the end of the day we were both exhausted!

Rowan had a modeling shoot in Yongsan yesterday (And another tomorrow!) so he had lots of pictures taken and I was running around trying to get him to cooperate. It was tiring! I'll have pictures to post of him after I load them onto my computer, so check back often.

They had him try on at least 7 different outfits (Which is a lot). His day started at 6:30 in the morning (Wake up to get on the bus at 0700, which is a two hour ride one way) and we didn't get home until after 2000! Needless to say, we were both exhausted and ready to sleep. Rowan was out by 9 and I tried to go to bed around the same time.

Anyway, he had lots of pictures taken and had a hard working day yesterday, but he seems to enjoy it when he does. He didn't wake up until 1030 this morning, a little later than normal, but he deserved a good rest.

Today he has been adorable, and he's only been out of bed for an hour! He's cuddled with Scout (His stuffed dog that talks) as well as talked to him too! He's now climbing on me so this blog will have to be cut short! Until next time!
